“Main opposition party CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has urged the government to immediately announce the date for holding elections. Speaking at a party entry program held at the central party office in Dhumbarai, Oli said that the constitution amendment process does not hold back the government from conducting elections. ‘Which Article of the constitution amendment bill deters the government to hold elections?’ asked Oli. Meanwhile, he claimed that the load-shedding has ended due to the agreement reached between Nepal and India during his government. In the agreement India had agreed to supply 80 and 20-megawatt electricity to Nepal. Coming hard on the Maoists, Oli further said that the media run by them are vituperative of me. As many as 92 people from different walks of life took memberships of the CPN-UML today.’”
